Tim's First Baseball Team

Brock and his new friend, Claire, like to color and play at the park during the baseball practices and games.

Tim is playing baseball for the first time this spring. His team includes boys from age 5 to age 7, so he's one of the youngest. He's starting to understand the rules of the game but still needs reminders to "run" and catch the ball. He loves that his coach told him to watch baseball as his homework. He frequently reminds me of this when he wants to watch TV:-

Dinnertime Entertainment

This clip is just short of two minutes. Brock becomes more animated toward the end. Dinner is never boring:-)

Snowman or Snowbaby?

This may qualify as Minnesota's smallest snowman. Last weekend, when the sun was actually out and it wasn't bitter cold, we all played outside making a snowman and having a snowball fight. The kids had a blast (so did the parents) and better yet, they took a long nap! It's been a long winter; we're looking foward to spring.

Swimming Lessons

Tim has been in swimming lessons for about 2 years now and loves it! He's looking forward to swimming in the pool this summer:-)

Tiger Fans

Shane's basketball team won their last regular season game to earn the title of Missota Conference Champs. This is the first time in nearly fifty years that Farmington's had that honor. In addition, they won their first play-off game and are headed to the Rochester Civic Center for the second round this weekend.
Here are some pictures from the past couple games. The boys have quite the routine down at the concession stand, sitting on the bench before the game, playing in the hallway, and sitting in the bleachers. (For a short time.)

Laser Tag

Tim and Brock had a blast at their cousin's birthday party playing laser tag. The vest was pretty heavy (and big) so Daddy had to hold it up on Brock and follow him around. Tim was very excited to hang with the big kids and has been asking to go back since the party.

They also had a turn with bumper cars and a trip around the arcade.

Brock the Baker

Brock has been a big help in the kitchen lately! He enjoys setting the table every night with plates and cups. (Tim usually helps too but isn't as enthusiastic.) He likes to stand next to me at the stove to "see." This night he stole the oven mits and was putting on quite a show in the kitchen!
